Sustainable Materials
Materials used in our products and packaging were responsible for approximately 70% of our total emissions in 2020. To become more sustainable, we need to shift to lower-impact materials, such as recycled and organic materials.
KPIs

The majority of our products are manufactured with seamless technology. On top of being extra comfortable, seamless products are more sustainable than traditional cut and sew products as they are made to exact specifications and therefore eliminate textile waste.

We launched our first recycled collection in January 2021, the Ocean Collection. The materials are entirely made from recycled plastic, whereof plastic from our oceans.
As part of our climate strategy, 80% of all materials used in our products should be recycled by 2025.

Using recycled materials goes beyond just textiles. We are aiming to use more recycled materials in other items relating to our products as well
During 2021, we are shifting to 100% recycled packaging bags as well as fully recycled paper for our hangtags.

By 2025, all cotton used in our products will be organic. Organic cotton ensures no harmful chemicals are used in the growing of the cotton, leaving the soil, air and water free from contaminates.
